Actividad de Aceitunas Sevillanas

	Sevillanes Olives, S.A. was established as an anonymous society in the 80th, an July the 13th. Its actual address is in number 14, Parroco Vicente Moya st., in Pilas, that belong to Sevilla (Spain). Its main activity has place in Spain, consisting in all the industries and comercial transactions related to transformation, comercialization, manipulation, promotion and sales of the olives, in the national & international markets mainly in U.S.A, Canada and E.U. As the roman, the Arabics later, used to sell them, but in small and few quantities, due to unknow a method to conserve them longer than 2 or 3 months.
But at the end of the 19th, it is when olives are started to be prepared in big quantities, to the "Spanish or Seville class", as a conservation method. It is called "aderezo", that consistes in pick up the green fruit, directly from the tree, before his maduration, and has the name of "green olive".
Spain is the first producer and exporter of olives. The last three years exportations accounts are about 132.500.000 Kg., and 40.000 millions of ptas, talkings about earnings.
	The national market sales 110.000.000 and 35.000.000.000 ptas. The black and green olives are presented in different cans, tined with and without bones, and sliced; and also the green ones are tined stuffed of red peppers and anchovies.
